MOVE IT 2022 Harlequin Round-up

Earlier this month MOVE IT returned to Excel London for three full days to celebrate all forms of dance and the performing arts! 

We were proud to sponsor MOVE IT again this year and be the official floor suppliers.

The main stage included performances from the biggest UK and International talent including Layton Williams (Everybody’s Talking about Jamie), Dark Angels (Greatest Dancer finalists), English National Ballet, Tap Attack, and more! Our installers fitted the main stage with our Harlequin Liberty sprung floor panels and Harlequin Cascade vinyl performance floor.

Our team of installers also installed our Harlequin Cascade, Reversible and Freestyle vinyl in various studios including the LSC Studio and the Royal Caribbean, Masterclass, Freestyle and Showcase areas.

The Freestyle area was a space where dancers could practice their freestyling skills and compete against each other. Performing on our Harlequin Freestyle vinyl, the floor was safe for all dance types from ballet to hip-hop.

One dancer, Nicole, who got to the Sunday final, also used one of our Tap and Turn Boards to show off her freestyle tap dancing.

Other areas included a space for the Royal Caribbean auditions where the dancers performed on our Harlequin Reversible Chroma Key Blue vinyl. Royal Caribbean Productions, the premiere producer of entertainment-at-sea, was seeking exceptional dancers at Move It for its fleet of 141 bespoke production shows aboard 26 state-of-the-art-ships. 

Everyone had the opportunity to take part in over 270 classes covering various dance styles. There were numerous studios, one of them being the LSC Studio with Harlequin Cascade vinyl.

It was great to see so many friendly faces at our stand too.
