A new concept in stage construction designed to enable performance spaces to easily accommodate multiple artistic disciplines. Harlequin BLOC is a high-quality flexible modular stage floor system that allows custom sizing and shaping for all technical requirements.

Harlequin BLOC uses a premium grade high strength birch ply base layer. The boards are manufactured off-site in 35mm, 50mm thick panels to suit the client’s requirements. The standard panels are 2m x 1m or 2.4m x 1.2m, other sizes can be manufactured to order. The stage panels are installed directly to the primary or secondary stage structure (steel or timber) on top of an acoustic separation layer.

The Harlequin BLOC Stage System is prefabricated using CAD and the latest CNC technology which enables highly accurate machining.

The Harlequin BLOC Stage System radically reduces on-site construction time compared with traditional stage construction methods.

• Prefabricated using the latest CNC technology to a tolerance of +/- 0.15mm.
• Manufactured off-site to reduce stage construction time on-site.
• Modular panel construction enables simple reconfiguration of the stage to facilitate future requirements for traps, access points and sacrificial elements.
• Tongue and groove panels can be pre-drilled and may be fixed directly to the stage structure.
• Simple to install or replace.
• Uses only PEFC and FSC certified wood in accordance with EN 204.
• Custom lifting points can be designed.
