Harlequin Liberty Ballroom Sprung Floor
Harlequin Liberty Ballroom is a sprung floor panel system specifically designed for ballroom dance. It is the ideal choice for professional dancers, teachers and students alike and can be laid on an existing stage or studio floor. The sprung floor helps to protect the dancers’ limbs and joints when making lifts and jumps, and the bespoke lacquered surface offers just the right amount of traction, allowing the dancers to glide and turn without the risk of slips or falls.
The BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing stars have danced on Harlequin Liberty Ballroom for a number of years. The floor was also specified for the Dance Against Dementia ‘Night of 100 Stars’ charity event held at the Royal Horticultural Hall in London. The Liberty Ballroom panels for this event were printed with a traditional Versailles print.
Professional World Ballroom Dance Champion Christopher Hawkins is a fan of Harlequin Liberty Ballroom and has it installed in his home studio.
Harlequin Liberty Ballroom is suitable for permanent and semi-permanent or temporary use. The surface has an elegant wood effect print and is protected by a hard wearing lacquer for longevity.
Installation can be carried out either by the customer themselves or by our highly skilled technical team. Harlequin Liberty Ballroom sprung floor panels can also be stored in carts, providing an easy and safe way for stage crew to move them on tour or at a venue.
