MOVE IT returned to Excel London from 20-22 March, bringing together dancers, teachers, performers and leading industry brands for three days of classes, performances and career opportunities.

As a headline sponsor, Harlequin once again supported the event, installing Harlequin sprung and vinyl floors across key spaces to help create safe, consistent environments for both training and performance.

Main Stage Performances On A Harlequin Floor

At the centre of the event, the main stage hosted a continuous programme of performances and showcases across all three days.

The stage was built with a Harlequin Liberty sprung floor finished with a Harlequin Cascade performance surface. This combination provided the essential balance of shock absorption and controlled slip resistance required for a wide range of dance styles.

A Full Programme Of Dance Classes And Showcases

MOVE IT 2026 delivered a packed programme of classes led by industry professionals, covering a wide range of styles including commercial, contemporary, ballet and hip-hop.

The Masterclass Studio, fitted with a Harlequin performance floor, provided a professional surface for dancers of all levels to train with confidence. Beyond the studios, the Showcase Theatre hosted a variety of performances from leading UK colleges, universities and performing arts schools. Also equipped with a Harlequin floor, the space supported a wide variety of performance styles, from musical theatre to contemporary dance.

Career Opportunities And Industry Connections

Across the weekend, attendees had the opportunity to take part in auditions for major organisations including Royal Caribbean Entertainment and Disney Live Entertainment.

Meet and greet sessions also gave dancers the chance to connect with well-known industry figures, including Abby Lee Miller, Hannah Lowther and Gianna Martello.
