The building is run sustainably with renewable energy, rooftop solar panels and LED lighting.

Samuel Skoog, Studios Manager at Artsadmin, oversees the rehearsal spaces and hire programme at the Toynbee Studios. The organisation regularly hosts high-profile companies and requires a studio floor that can support a wide range of artistic practices.

How did Artsadmin first hear about Harlequin?
Samuel first encountered Harlequin professionally when he took on management of the studios in 2023. The name was already familiar: “With both my parents in ballet, I’ve been hearing ‘rolls of Harlequin’ for most of my life!”
