The Escuela Profesional de Danza de Castilla y León Ana Laguna in Burgos as well as the EPDCYL Valladolid are the only centres in the Castilla y León region authorised to offer professional dance training. Both centres offer students the possibility of having specialist teachers, interpreters and guest choreographers from other educational institutions or dance companies.
The centres, which have been offering dance studies since 2006, are managed by the Fundación Universidades y Enseñanzas Superior de Castilla y León, an entity linked to the Ministry of Education.
Fifteen years on from their creation, both schools have seen students obtain training scholarships awarded by institutions such as the Ecole Supérieure de Danse de Cannes, the Royal Danish Ballet, the Hamburg Ballet, the English National Ballet School and the San Francisco Ballet as well as prizes in prestigious competitions both nationally and internationally.
It is the great team of professionals, dancers and musicians, who drive the success of both schools, offering a high quality and complete training that opens doors to the professional world of dance.
