Purchasing and Logistics Assistant
Harlequin Floors is seeking a Purchasing & Logistics Assistant, the successful candidate will be placing purchase orders and pursuing quotes for transport and delivery of goods.
OPPORTUNITY
An opportunity has arisen at our Tunbridge Wells office, for a full-time Purchasing & Logistics Assistant within the Procurement & Operations Team; the role will report directly to the Group Procurement & Operations Director.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is responsible for the raising of purchase orders using the existing ERP system as well as pursuing quotes for the transport and delivery of goods. Training will be given on the ERP system, but experience with Google and Microsoft applications is essential.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate must demonstrate good communication skills and will require a mix of the right personality to fit the existing team. Experience of purchasing function is essential and export/shipping an advantage. This is a busy, fast paced role where you will need to be extremely organised, have great attention to detail and be able to work to a deadline. Strong IT skills are essential.
