London Vocational Ballet School celebrates the opening of its new studio space and facilities
31st October 2023
This year the Young Dancers Academy announced a transformative change as it rebranded to London Vocational Ballet School (LVBS). With its new name and identity, LVBS has expanded its West London facilities with a second Harlequin studio.
LVBS Patron and Du Boisson Dance Foundation Founder, Anna Du Boisson, said: “The most important thing in the building is that the quality in the studio is of the highest calibre. When we put our Harlequin flooring in both the downstairs studio and the new space upstairs, I knew it had to be the best quality that we could possibly get.”
LVBS Director of Business Operations, Gavin McCaig, said: “Having state-of-the-art flooring allows us to know we are giving our students the right tools they need to succeed and push themselves as far as they can safely. We know that the impact is softened when they’re jumping and they won’t injure themselves on a slippery surface.”
Located in Shepherd’s Bush, London Vocational Ballet School takes pride in its position as a premier location for vocational ballet training, offering education in classical ballet and various dance disciplines.
As well as the new studio, LVBS has new classrooms, a science lab, and offices.
LVBS also shares its studio space with West London School of Dance which offers non-syllabus ballet classes to 2-16 year old dancers.
As the transition to London Vocational Ballet School continues, there will be a series of events and activities throughout the year that engage students, parents, faculty, alumni, and the wider community.
