The Royal & Derngate Theatre Northampton recently underwent a major stage refurbishment programme completed by Harlequin for the multi-configuration auditorium.

The Royal & Derngate Theatre Northampton recently underwent a major stage refurbishment programme completed by Harlequin for the multi-configuration auditorium. The issue facing the team was of a dilapidated stage surface which had not been resurfaced in over ten years. Harlequin’s solution included adding new battens to strengthen the stage on to which a double-layer ply was fitted. The stage was completed with a Harlequin Standfast vinyl top surface.
